Spring and the Autumn are the most popular times as the climate is perfect for walking in the hills, exploring the many historic sites or relaxing on a sandy beaches or by the pool. The sea is always warm.

The summer is for those who enjoy the heat, with July and August having average temperature of 32 deg C.

There is a large ex-pat British community in the area who enjoy the very mild winters of Cyprus. Why not try it and escape the miserable British winter?

Northern Cyprus has developed at a much slower pace than many of its neighbours. The quality of living is remarkably good yet great value for money.

  • Visit ancient sites

    o St Hilarion Castle – thought to date back to the late 11th century, a fortified castle.
    o Kyrenia Castle – largely dating back to 13th Century, but built on the site of a Byzantine Castle of the 7th Century AD
    o Bellapais Abbey – beautiful 14th century Lusignan abbey
    o Salamis – Ancient Roman City – spectacular architectural site with extensive well preserved ruins

  • Visit unspoilt Cyprus

    There are many footpaths in the Kyrenia mountains or visit the very unspoilt Karpaz peninsula for beautiful natural scenery

  • Boat trip

    There are many options on offer if you visit Kyrenia harbour, for day trips on traditional Turkish Gulet wooden boats. Many will take you to secluded bays for a dip in the sea and lunch.
